Minds have their own weather systems. You are in a hurricane. Hurricanes run out of energy eventually. Hold on.

Matt Haig
About This Quote

In this quote, the speaker is encouraging his friend to keep pushing through his troubles. It’s hard to imagine that someone could survive a hurricane for very long. Hurricanes are powerful storms that can destroy everything in their path. And yet, people have been known to live through hurricanes and come out looking better than they did before.

If you’re a hurricane, you’re going to have a rough go of it, but there is going to be a time when you run out of fuel and run out of steam. You have to be strong enough to have the strength to keep going even though you’re not sure how much longer you can manage.
